A four year varsity player for Iowa City West High School, Iowa's winningest high school program in state 3A history with 9 state championships and 13 state final appearances, Davíd helped lead West High to 3 consecutive state finals, and 2 state championships. As Captain his senior year, Davíd made the IHSAA All-Tournament Team, First Team All-Conference, and IHSAA All-Star Game. Davíd also holds the single-season assists record with 27 assists at Iowa City West High.  Davíd played four years of club soccer at the University of Iowa where he helped to lead the Hawkeyes to the Regional Finals while captaining the team in 2010.

Davíd has 7+ years in coaching across club and high school soccer, starting as a staff coach for Iowa Soccer Club working with the youth academy (ages 4-10) as well as the senior teams (ages 11-18). In 2014, Davíd spent one season at his alma mater, Iowa City West High School, where he lead the Freshman/Sophomore team to an 11-1 record and as Assistant Varsity Coach helped guide the program to their 8th State Championship and the first ever 3-peat in state history. He is passionate about coaching because it provides a platform to help build great young men and women through sport.
